Founded in 2018 by Ned Doherty, NGD Waterworks was born out of a clear vision: to raise the standard of marine construction in Australia. After completing his trade in carpentry and joinery and gaining experience in residential construction, Ned recognised a gap in the market. Too often, waterfront property owners struggled to find a company that could deliver premium, bespoke marine solutions with the same level of detail and professionalism seen in high-end residential projects.
That gap became an opportunity — and NGD Waterworks was created to fill it. Today, we are proud to be a company that property owners, developers, and marina operators trust for projects both large and small. With premises in Kurnell, NSW, and an office in Taren Point, NGD now services clients along the entire East Coast of Australia.
